VitroStudio is a personal project that began in 2015. It was originated alongside two talented colleagues. Over the course of 2015-2018, it blossomed into a brand specializing in glass products crafted through the technique of glass fusion. Among the diverse array of products created were decorative pieces and vessels. Recognizing the importance of sustainable practices, we repurposed glass bottles, offering them a second life in various forms.
VitroStudio was honored to participate as a guest exhibitor in four design fairs and twice as a workshop facilitator during academic weeks at the University of La Salle Bajío in Mexico.

The focus of the workshops was to introduce participants to the versatile medium of glass through the technique of fusion. Embracing students from various design disciplines—graphic, industrial, fashion, and footwear—. The main idea was to encouraged experimentation with the material rather than focusing solely on object creation. The diversity and creativity of the student participants led to a diverse mix of surprising outcomes, showcasing the inherent versatility of glass as a medium.
At 2018, I continued to expand the project, exploring new techniques such as glass blowing. That year, I had the opportunity to visit the workshop of Xaquixe, known for their sustainable practices, where I developed Equilibrium.
Among other techniques I’ve experimented with is Tiffany glasswork, particularly with the creation of terrariums. In this series, I aimed to experiment with geometry and the interplay of light, exploring how light reflects off the edges of the glass. Each terrarium became a miniature world, blending organic forms with the precision of geometric design.
Personally, glass has been a transformative material for me, allowing me to become an alchemist of sorts, continuously exploring and experimenting. Its ever-evolving nature never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
